Learn Right ... Right from the Start
Correct position and safety add to the fun kids have starting their riding experience with Old Canyon Farm Riding School. Riding Instructor Carolyn Culligan believes that good habits are just as easy to form as bad habits, and she personally starts new riders to insure they get the most out of their riding lessons. More experienced riders, kids, and adults are welcome.
The Old Canyon Farm Family
Many of OCF's successful training clients started in the Riding School. Our program is more exclusive than some large riding schools, attracting riders who share our passion for horses and riding.
Leasing a Horse ... A Great Way to Start
Riders aspiring to advance from the Old Canyon Farm Riding School to the Training Program need to be mounted properly. Before deciding if horse ownership is right for your family, leasing a well-trained horse is an easy way to move up.
A feed lease involves paying board and basic care for a horse. A lease for a more advanced horse may also require an additional fee.
It's Easy to Get Started Now!
Riding lessons are given Wednesday through Sunday. Just call Carolyn (661-607-1709) or email her at ccrider14@roadrunner.com to make an appointment. Click here for our rates and services. |

"My daughter Star has been in the Old Canyon Farm Riding School for three months now, and we are privileged to have such a kind-hearted and knowledgeable instructor as Carolyn guiding her in her horseback riding. Under Carolyn's supervision, I feel completely safe, and her experience as an instructor is very evident. We are truly very happy with her. -- Fara Farrohi
